Who We Help

We are a best fit for taxpayers whose returns need real expertise:

  • High-income earners and households with multiple income sources
  • Investors with numerous stock transactions, RSUs, or capital gains
  • Taxpayers with K-1 income from partnerships, S-Corps, or trusts
  • Retirees managing IRA distributions, Roth conversions, and Social Security
  • Multi-state filers and those with foreign income, rentals, accounts, or assets

What’s Included with Every Personal Return

  • Preparation by a firm led by an IRS Enrolled Agent
  • A closing appointment to review deductions and plan for next year
  • Year-round access for tax questions. We provide a reasonable amount of tax advice throughout the year. If we feel a client is getting close to what we consider reasonable, we will let them know we may need to begin charging for additional time. This rarely happens – just an FYI.
  • Transparent pricing with a range provided upfront

Tax Planning That Pays for Itself

Most tax offices file what already happened. We help you change what happens next – timing capital gains, planning Roth conversions, structuring charitable giving, and managing withholding.

An Enrolled Agent (EA) is a tax professional licensed by the IRS – it is the highest credential the IRS awards. EAs can represent taxpayers before the IRS in audits, collections, and appeals in all 50 states.

You can’t do both, so we calculate which saves more. Most taxpayers use the standard deduction, but itemizing wins if your mortgage interest, state and local taxes, and charitable giving exceed the standard amount. We check every year – it can change.

A deduction lowers your taxable income; a credit reduces your tax bill dollar for dollar. Credits are generally more valuable. We review your eligibility for credits like education credits and the child tax credit on every return.

Bring or upload your W-2s, 1099s, K-1s, mortgage interest statements, property tax records, charitable donation records, and your last two years of tax returns if you’re new to us. We ask for documents at least three days before your appointment – our Tax Accounting Worksheets can help you gather everything.

Don’t panic – and don’t respond on your own. We can represent you directly before the IRS. If you’re dealing with back taxes, a levy, or a lien, contact us.

We price by the forms and schedules your return actually needs, as well as risk and complexity, and you get a range upfront. See our Transparent Pricing page for the full personal return pricing guide – our goal is to save you more than we cost.
