About Us

   We are a small, dedicated tax firm staffed full time and year-round. Our original office opened in Arizona in 2020, and in 2025 we expanded by opening a second office in Colorado. Jason owns and runs the Arizona office, while Somi owns and runs the Colorado office. They work closely together and regularly consult on tax matters when needed. 

Jason is an Enrolled Agent which is the highest credential the IRS awards tax accountants. He attends the IRS tax convention every year to stay up to date with tax law. He has published a few books including "50 Most Common IRS Audit Triggers and How to Avoid them." He has a bachelor's degree in business administration from the University of Arizona, is veteran of the United States Army. He is married to Amy and they have four kids. Jason enjoys doing outdoor activities with his family including boating and fishing! 

Danielle is our full time office manager. She is married to a retired fireman and has three high school age boys. She is honest and trustworthy which is an important trait when handling the sensitive information shared with tax returns. She will likely be the first person you talk to when you call our office. She is a competitive long distance runner and recreational rock climber when she is not at work. 

 Donovan is a full-time tax accountant with strong knowledge of taxes and real estate. He is married and has two daughters. He also holds an IRS Annual Filing Season Program (AFSP) Record of Completion, which reflects his commitment to ongoing tax education. In his free time, he enjoys spending time with his family and hunting. 

 Donna has over 30 years of experience in real estate and banking. She worked for Chase Bank for 20 years and, after retiring, wanted to stay active by taking on a part-time role. Donna handles much of our data entry and works part time. In her spare time, she enjoys spending time with her husband and son. 

Amy has a bachelor's degree in business, is well versed in US tax law and helps at the office during tax season. Amy is married to Jason, she is a competitive long distance runner, she loves the outdoors and is a great mom!

 Somi is an Enrolled Agent with a Master’s degree in business and a strong background in accounting and tax compliance. She owns and operates the Colorado office of Tax Scout, where she works with individuals and small businesses on tax preparation, bookkeeping, and ongoing tax support. Somi speaks four languages, is nice and great at taxes. Outside of work, she enjoys spending time with her husband and three children. 

 Arnold is a CPA who is no longer taking new clients but consults as needed. He has over 40 years of experience, most recently serving as a managing partner at a large tax firm, where he advised high-net-worth clients on complex tax matters.
